It was a momentous day in the career of South African soccer star Bongani Zungu, who recently signed for Scottish club Glasgow Rangers on loan and spent his first day training with his new team.
Zungu, who joined Steven Gerrard's charges from French club Amiens, was photographed receiving his jersey from the former Liverpool legend.
The Bafana Bafana midfielder, capped 29 times for the national side, said that he was looking forward to his time at the club.
"It means a lot to me and I am very happy to be here and play for team with such a great, rich history," Zungu told the club website.
Rangers currently top the Scottish Premiership, six points clear of great rivals Glasgow Celtic.
