New Delhi: After facing an outage for a short period, Twitter services were restored on Wednesday evening. Many users across India, Malaysia, and Indonesia have reported that the microblogging site Twitter was not working. The users were facing issues in refreshing their feeds and were not able to post their tweets either.
The social media users were facing the issue on PC, Android, iOS platforms. People trying to refresh their feeds could see the message, “Something went wrong. Try again.”
According to information provided in the DownDetector website, Twitter started facing issues at around 8 PM IST, and it currently has over 4,000 reports of the outage.
Many social media users have also taken to other platforms like Facebook to report about the issue regarding the microblogging site. However, the reason behind the outage is not known yet and the company has not put out an official statement about it.
As per reports, the outage might have been a server-level issue for the South East Asian countries.
