KANPUR: Only 22 persons were tested
positive for
Covid-19 in the city on Tuesday. This was the lowest number of Covid-19 positive cases reported in the district for the first time in past three months including October. The total count of Covid-19 cases has reached to 27,638.
Covid cases had reached its peak in September when Covid cases reported in day remained between 200 and 400. Meanwhile, five persons were discharged from
hospital and 32 completed
home isolation.
One more death of Covid-19 patient was reported on Tuesday.. The deceased was a 72-year-old resident of Gadariya Mohal and he was also suffering from diabetes, pneumonia and SARI. He breathed his last at LLR hospital.
