KALYAN: The
death toll in
Kalyan-Dombivli reached 1,000 mark on Wednesday while
recovery rate of patients reached above 94% which is highest in
Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
One death were reported in Kalyan-Dombivli on Wednesday, taking the virus toll to 1,000 while 197 new patients were reported Wednesday, taking the tally to 49,618.
Meanwhile, the recovery rate in Kalyan-Dombivli reached 94.29% with recovery of 46,789 patients and only 1,829 active cases, said officials.
The Kalyan-Dombivli once had become hotspot for
Covid-19 in MMR region after Mumbai but in October month, Kalyan-Dombivli municipal crporation brought numbers of Covid-19 patients under control and also death rate went to 2% in city .
