Mumbai: Among the key bulk deals on Tuesday, Essar India raised its stake in Jump Networks, while HSBC Global Investment Funds extinguished its entire stake in Sandhar Technologies.

Companies such as Gati and Just Dial also witnessed bulk deals during the day.

Of the frontline indices, Sensex rose 0.94 per cent to 40,522.10, while peer Nifty climbed 1.03 per cent to 11,889.40.

>> HSBC GIF Asia Ex Japan Equity Smaller Companies sold its entire 2.01 per cent stake or a total of 12,08,869 shares of Sandhar Technologies at Rs 236 per share.

>> LTS Investment Fund bought 35,00,000 shares of Vikas Multicorp at Rs 7.65 per share.

>> BM Traders sold 89,169 shares of Likhitha Infrastructure at Rs 152.40 per share.

>> Companies such as Gati and Just Dial also witnessed bulk deals during the day.
