“The Congress made titanic promises but reneged on them,” the Bharatiya Janata Party stalwart – who led the saffron camp to a historic victory in the 2003 elections – averred while addressing a by-poll rally in Sanchi Assembly constituency’s Sanchet.

“Mr Nath is unable to handle his army! His warriors are defecting and on Sunday one of them entered saffron ranks. No true defender of public interest will favour Mr Nath’s brand of selfish politics,” the senior politician conveyed via social media.
