IPCA LABS at 52 Week High; BSE 500 Index Up 0.4%

IPCA LABS share price has hit a 52-week high at Rs 2,319 (up 6.9%).

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 15,402 (up 0.4%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are IPCA LABS (up 6.9%) and KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 10.5%).

HINDUSTAN ZINC (down 8.2%) and GE POWER INDIA (down 6.7%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, IPCA LABS has moved up from Rs 946 to Rs 2,319, registering a gain of Rs 1,373 (up 140.66%).

The BSE 500 has moved up from 15,017 to 15,402, registering a gain of 385 points (up 2.5%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE 500 Index stocks during this same period were ADANI GREEN ENERGY (up 754.2%), DIXON TECHNOLOGIES (up 220.2%) and NAVIN FLUORINE (up 177.9%).

What About the Benchmark Indices?

The BSE Sensex is at 40,316 (up 0.4%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 10.5%), NESTLE (up 4.5%) and NTPC (up 3.7%). Other gainers include ASIAN PAINTS (up 3.5%) and BAJAJ FINANCE (up 3.4%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and ICICI BANK.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,826 (up 0.4%). KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK (up 9.7%) and NESTLE (up 4.6%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 39,059 to 40,316, registering a gain of 1,257 points (up 3.2%).

IPCA LABS Financial Update...

IPCA LABS net profit stood at Rs 5 billion for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a profit of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales rose 30.4% to Rs 14.9 billion during the period as against Rs 11.4 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, IPCA LABS reported 84.7% increase in net profit to Rs 4.4 billion compared to net profit of Rs 2.4 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 14.9% to Rs 38 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of IPCA LABS, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 29.5x.
