Jodhpur: Attempted to murder a prisoner inside the jail, stone crushed face, broken jaw

Jodhpur Central Jail remains in the headlines for some reason or the other. Now inside the jail, a case of attempt to murder the prisoner has come to light in which the face was crushed with a stone and the jaw was broken. In this regard, the detainee has registered a case accusing three other prisoners of attempted murder.

The incident took place at 2 pm on 19 October in which an attempted murder in the sleep of a pending prisoner has been crushed with a stone. This has resulted in injuries to the face along with breaking the jaw of the captive. A case has now been registered regarding this. The prisoner is undergoing treatment at the prison dispensary itself. Police said that Mujahid son Kamrook, a resident of Bas, originally from Bihar's Kishanganj Hall Udaya Temple Asan Bhishtis, is under trial and is currently in jail in a case. He is housed in barrack number 2 and ward number 2 of the jail.

While he was sleeping at two o'clock on the night of 9 October, three other undertrials, Mohammad Asif son Ibrahim, Saddam son Mohammad Farooq and Mohammad Nadeem son Shaukat Ali, attempted to kill him by crushing his face with a large stone. His jaw was broken when crushed with a stone. A sudden attack on him broke the sleep of other prisoners. He was later admitted to the prison dispensary.

Raatnada police said that the undertrials alleged that these three captives searched their bags and kept searching for their goods like biscuits, snacks, etc. At the time of the incident, the bag was also taken out and scattered. The investigation has been handed over to ASI Kalu Singh of Raatanada police station in connection with the incident. Is being investigated.
