Eight-yr-old boy killed by leopard in Ahmednagar

Ahmednagar, Oct 25 (UNI) An eight-year-old boy was mauled to death by a leopard in Pathardi tehsil of the district early on Sunday.
The incident occurred in Kelwandi area near Manikdaundi Road in Pathardi at around 0300 hours when the boy, Saksham Ganesh Athare, was sleeping in the basement of the house as usual on Saturday night.
The leopard attacked him and dragged him away into a nearby field from where his body was found early this morning at around 0600 hours.
The leopard fled upon seeing an employee of the Forest department, sources said.
