Modi to have virtual dialogue with UP's street vendors on Tuesday

Lucknow, Oct 26 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will talk to the street vendors of Uttar Pradesh under the PM Swanidhi Yojana on Tuesday.
Official sources on Monday said that the PM Swanidhi Yojana had been launched by the central government on June 1 to re-link the street vendors, affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, to livelihoods.
Over seven lakh registrations have been received on the portal under the scheme till now in Uttar Pradesh, against which more than 6.40 lakh online applications have been received and more than 3.62 lakh applications have been approved out of them.
Sources said that so far, loans have been disbursed to 2.59 lakh street vendors. Uttar Pradesh is first in the country in online registration, loan approval and loan disbursement under PM Swanidhi Yojana.
Sources said that the PM will hold a virtual dialogue with the beneficiaries of the PM's Swanidhi Yojana on Tuesday.
Arrangements have been made to make the broadcast for this program available for watching to the beneficiaries of 651 urban bodies in 75 districts of the state in this virtual dialogue. Apart from YouTube and Doordarshan, this live broadcast can be seen on the Facebook page of the Chief Minister's Office and on the Twitter handle.
Apart from UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Urban Development Minister Ashutosh Tandon, Minister of State for Urban Development Mahesh Chandra Gupta, Chief Secretary and other officials will participate in the programme.
