'We are clean': Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray defends son Aaditya Thackeray after his name gets dragged into Sushant Singh Rajput's death case

For the first time, Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray addressed the numerous controversies surrounding the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput at Shiv Sena's annual Dussehra rally. He also made veiled attacks on the likes of Kangana Ranaut, who had defamed Maharashtra, Mumbai police and the 'sons of Maharashtra' including his son Aaditya Thackeray. The CM said, 'Someone who committed suicide is now a Bihar son. He may be, but because of him, you maligned sons of Maharashtra. You even maligned my son Aaditya. So whatever you said, keep it yourself. We are clean.' He further slammed 'those crying for justice', accusing Mumbai police of being useless while making drug allegations. Thackeray added, 'They don't know in our house we grow tulsi not ganja. Ganja fields are in your state, you know where, not in our Maharashtra.' This sounded like a direct attack on the actress, who hails from Himachal Pradesh.
