Nawab Malik supports CM Uddhav as BJP slams Dusshera speech

Aurangabad/Mumbai, Oct 26 (UNI) After CM Uddhav Thackeray's Dussehra speech came under the BJP's verbal attack, State Minority Development Minister and NCP National Spokesman Nawab Malik on Monday came to the aid of the ruling ally.
As the Opposition BJP targetted the CM on Hindutva, Minister Malik asserted, "The Congress, NCP and Shiv Sena have not abandoned their respective ideologies and joined the government."
He further said, "The Maha Vikas Aghadi government operates on the basis of at least the same program (agreed between the trio prior forming the coalition)."
"It's not our program to do politics on the basis of religion," he added, accusing the BJP of garnering votes on the plank of religion.
He continued, "In the dispute between the Shiv Sena and the BJP, Mr Thackeray has shown the BJP a mirror of the true situation. The CM explained how the BJP was misleading the people by making different comments."
