The ANZ operation of AWS is claimed to be the biggest cloud business in the ANZ region.

In a statement, Migliorini said: "During my time with AWS, Versent was a crucial partner and I have been impressed by the team’s expertise and customer-focused approach.

"[The year] 2020 has been a period of immense change and it’s a critical time for many organisations – businesses need to find better and smarter ways to operate and Versent are the experts in helping them do that.”

Before he worked with AWS, Migliorini was the chief executive of IWG (formerly Regus) for ANZ, where he developed and ran a portfolio of more than 80 workspaces across the region.

His other jobs have included managing director at BT (ANZ and ASEAN) and leadership roles at Motorola and Ernst & Young in Australia and across Asia.
