Raghopur: With just two days to go for the first phase of the Bihar assembly elections, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav Monday addressed a swelling crowd at Raghopur assembly constituency, considered the party’s bastion.
People gathered at Veerpur area of Raghopur chanting “Lalu Yadav zindabad…Tejashwi Yadav zindabad” and some even carried lanterns, the RJD’s electoral symbol. Photos of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, in jail for three fodder scam cases, were also visible at the rally.
The crowd broke barricades at several points as they rushed to catch a glimpse of Tejashwi. Security officials struggled to control the crowds, which was a mix of both young and old people.
