Three civilians wounded in bomb attack in Kabul

Kabul, Oct 26 (UNI) Three civilians were wounded in a bomb attack hitting a government vehicle in western neighborhood of Afghan capital Kabul on Monday, a security source said.

"The blast hit a four-wheel-drive car in Omid-e-Sabz locality, Police District six roughly at 0730 hrs local time. The cause of the explosion could be detonation of a sticky improvised bomb attached to the vehicle," the source told Xinhua anonymously.

Photos released by the local TV channels showed the vehicle which veered off the road and was damaged in the explosion.

The vehicle reportedly belongs to head of public relation and information of Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

Details about the people affected in the incident were not immediately available.

On Saturday, at least 24 people were killed and nearly 70 wounded after a suicide bomber targeted an education center in west of Kabul.
