Asserting that India stands firmly with its brave soldiers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday urged people to light a 'diya' at their homes to honour security forces guarding its borders while they celebrate festivals.
In his monthly 'Mann ki Baat' radio broadcast, Modi wished people on Dussehra and said that with various festivals coming up, they need to show patience and follow health guidelines in celebrating these auspicious occasions during the COVID times.
While he was addressing the nation in his speech, Twitterati started to trend #PMSpeakUpOnSSRCase, asking him to speak about the late actor.
Sushant was found dead at his home in Mumbai on June 14. The case was initially suspected to be a suicide and was probed by the Mumbai Police. It was later handed over to CBI which is yet to officially release its conclusions.
Death of Sushant became an issue of huge outcry on social media. Since his death, several hashtags kept trending thereby asking justice for the late actor.
