Defense Minister Rajnath on two-day visit to Bengal-Sikkim, paid tribute at Sukna War Memorial in Darjeeling

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, who arrived on a two-day visit to West Bengal and Sikkim, paid tributes at the Sukna War Memorial in Darjeeling on Sunday. During this, Rajnath said, India wants the India-China border tension to end and peace be preserved. Furthermore, I believe that our army will not let anyone take even an inch of our land.

Earlier, the Defense Minister arrived in Darjeeling on Saturday. From there, 33 Corps reached Army Headquarters Sukna via helicopter. On reaching here, he addressed the soldiers. Addressing the soldiers, the Defense Minister said, "India always wants better relations with all its neighbors, we have always strived for the same." But our soldiers have had to sacrifice their lives from time to time to protect their boundaries, integrity, and universality.
