Dussehra: Ravana effigies burnt in Delhi, to mark win of good over evil
The day of Vijayadashami also known as Dussehra celebrated by burning effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna and Meghanada. Huge effigies were built in Delhi’s Shastri Nagar and Noida. Vijayadashami is one of the prime festivals of Hindus. Vijayadashami is also known as Dussehra is celebrated as victory of Lord Rama over Demon Ravana.
