Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the contribution of India's first Home Minister Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. He said, "We will find very few people with all these traits together like- ideological depth, moral courage, political acumen, deep knowledge of the agricultural sector and devotion to national unity."
