COVID-19 cases up by 4439 in Karnataka

Bengaluru, Oct 25 (UNI) Karnataka reported 4,439 fresh cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of infections in the state to 8,02,817 on Sunday.
According to official sources, the number of fresh deaths due to COVID-19 also surged by 32 taking the total
number to 10,905.
The health authorities also stated that the total number of COVID-19 patients cured in the last 24-hours
rose to 10,106, taking the total number of recoveries to 7,10,843 till Sunday.
The Bengaluru Urban district recorded the highest number of 2,468 cases, followed by Bagalakote 41, Ballari 132, Belagavi 46, Bengaluru Rural 234, Bidar 7, Chamarajanagara 22, Chikkaballapura 50, Chikkamagaluru 36,
Chitradurga 99, Dakshina Kannada 139, Davanagere 72, Dharwada 65, Gadag 22, Hassana 103, Haveri 9, Kalaburagi 62, Kodagu 35, Kolara 49, Koppala 52, Mandya 86, Mysuru 140, Raichuru 30, Ramanagara 23, Shivamogga 32, Tumakuru 141, Udupi 117, Uttara Kannada 46, Vijayapura 49 and Yadagiri district 32.
In the last 24-hours as many as 1,00,511 persons had undergone COVID-19 tests including 17,729 Rapid Antigen Detection Tests, the sources added.
