After nearly seven months, the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Shatabdi Express will be back on track. Western Railway (WR) announced on Saturday that it would run as per schedule, October 28 onwards, and that it will not run on Sundays.
WR officials said its first journey will be on October 28, when it will leave Mumbai at 6.25am and reach Ahmedabad at 1.10pm. From Ahmedabad, the train will leave at 2.45pm and reach Mumbai at 9.20pm. The train will halt at Borivlli, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara and Anand.
WR also announced festival trains between Bhuj and Bareilly. The train is to run between October 28-December 2. It will leave Bhuj on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 5.05pm, and will reach Bareilly the next day at 8.35 pm.
