nCoV: K'taka reports 4471 more cases, 52 fatalities

Bengaluru, Oct 24 (UNI) Karnataka on Saturday reported 4471 fresh cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of the pandemic cases to 798378.
Besides, 52 people also died in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of persons succumbed to the disease to 10873.
On a positive front, 7153 patients also recovered in the past 24 hours.
The Bengaluru Urban district recorded highest 2251 number of fresh cases, followed by Bagalakote 57, Ballari 129, Belagavi 73, Bengaluru Rural 102, Bidar 7, Chamarajanagara 34, Chikkaballapura 78,
Dakshina Kannada 136, Davanagere 52, Dharwada 93, Gadaga 14, Hassana 136, Haveri 30,
Kalaburagi 71, Kodagu 33, Kolra 45, Koppala 49, Mandya 163, Mysuru 173, Raichuru 25, Ramanagara 22, Shivamogga 79, Tuakuru 232, Udupi 81, Uttara Kannada 48, Vijayapura 62 and Yadagiri district 27.
Total 112445 tests were conducted on Saturday. Of these, 21981 were Rapid Antigen Tests.
