Bihar elections: Janata Dal Rashtrawadi Party's candidate Shree Narayan Singh shot dead

PATNA: Janata Dal Rashtrawadi Party's candidate for Bihar assembly elections, Shree Narayan Singh, was shot dead at Hathsar village of Sheohar district on Saturday, said Purnahia SHO Munna Kumar.
Kumar said Singh's supporters got hold of one of the shooters while he was fleeing and lynched him.
"One shooter was nabbed at the spot while trying to flee and was thrashed mercilessly. The shooter, who is still unidentified, was rushed to a hospital for treatment but didn't survive," said Sheohar SP Santosh Kumar.
Bihar assembly elections will be held in three phases - October 28, November 3, and 7, and the counting of votes will take place on November 10.
