The election campaign of political parties is gaining momentum in 28 assembly seats of 19 districts in Madhya Pradesh. The election campaign will end on November 1 given voting on November 3.

The ruling party in the state, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) star campaigner and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, will address election meetings at Khajuri Kharada in Morena district and Koteshwar Maidan in Gwalior today. Apart from this, BJP state president Vishnudutt Sharma will hold election meetings in favor of the party candidate in Karaira in Shivpuri district, Sumavali in Morena district, and Gohad assembly constituency in Bhid district.

The main opposition parties will meet local leaders and activists besides addressing election meetings in Mehgaon and Morena districts of the former Chief Minister Kamal Nath Bhid district, campaigned by the Congress. Apart from the Congress, former Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Ajay Singh and former Union Minister Arun Yadav are going to separate election meetings with Shri Kamal Nath. There is now eight days left for the end of the election campaign in Madhya Pradesh. That is why all the parties are throwing all their strength.

Apart from Chief Minister Shri Chouhan and State President Shri Sharma, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Shri Jyotiraditya Sidhiya, former State President Prabhat Jha, many ministers and officials are also taking charge from BJP. In all 28 seats, a total of 355 candidates are in luck, including 12 ministers of the state government. Due to the demise of three erstwhile MLAs and resignation of 25 erstwhile MLAs, the by-elections have been held in these seats.

While indecisive statements are coming out during the campaign, the BJP mainly issues the 'names' of the Congress's 15-month reign and the Congress leaders, the ruling party's 15-year tenure of the BJP and the current seven-month term. Are seen The Congress is also trying to tell the leaders who have entered the election field by 'defection' and telling them their true voters by 'selling' and 'cloaking'.

The issue of farmer loan waiver is also visible during the by-elections. The Congress claims that its government had forgiven millions of farmers, but BJP alleges that the Congress did not keep the promises made to the people after coming to power. The Congress had pledged to waive loans up to two lakh rupees in ten days, but it did not do so. 55 thousand crore rupees were required for debt waiver, but loan waiver of six thousand crore rupees was also not completed.

Meanwhile, the election campaign has been affected in some assembly constituencies of Gwalior zone following an order of October 20 from the Gwalior bench of the state high court. The court said that to prevent the infection of Kovid 19, the emphasis should be on holding virtual meetings. The court has given very strict orders for holding election meetings, which is causing difficulty in holding election meetings in the areas of the respective districts. The Election Commission has moved the Supreme Court against this order.

The state's 230-member assembly currently has 202 MLAs, of which 107 are from BJP, 88 from Congress, two from BSP, one from Samajwadi Party and four are Independent MLAs. In the event of having a total of 230 MLAs, a minimum of 116 MLAs are required to prove majority to any party in the House. The fate of the Madhya Pradesh government will also be decided after the results of the by-election are announced on November 10, after the fate of 355 candidates was captured in the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) on November 3.
