Bhoopesh Baghel suggests Nitish Kumar to retire and take rest

Bhagalpur, Oct 24 ( UNI) Describing Bihar government as a total failure, senior Congress leader and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel today suggested Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to retire and take rest and pave the way for the youth.

Addressing an electoral meeting in the favour of Congress candidate he said here that instead of retiring and taking rest, Mr Kumar is begging for coming to power again and is obstructing the emergence of youth in power.

Comparing various scenario of Bihar with Chhattisgarh Mr Baghel lauded his government saying that in Chhattisgarh the paddy was being procured from farmers at Rs 2200 per quintal whereas in Bihar it is being purchased by the government only at Rs 1200 per quintal.

He claimed that Chhattisgarh is the only state in the country where the state government was purchasing cow dung at Rs 2 per kg from the farmers.

He said that the farmers having four cows were easily earning Rs 20 to 25000 per month by selling the cow dung.

Lamenting at the working style of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mr Baghel said that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government was working for the benefit of certain industrialists and not for the labourers and common people.

He further said that the industrialists like Ambani and Adani are becoming richer day by day which shows that the government is not at all interested in the welfare of labourers and common people.

Criticising the new agricultural reform act as anti farmers he said that all these new acts have been introduced only to benefit the capitalists.
