Hemant accuses Centre of step-motherly treatment of non-BJP states

Hemant accuses Centre of step-motherly treatment of non-BJP states

Dumka, Oct 24 (UNI) Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Saturday accused the Centre of having step-motherly towards the non-BJP ruled states.

Addressing a press conference at his residence here he said that centre owes crores of rupee in return of coal, land and GST but the centre was not paying its pending payment. He said that in the previous government the state government had owed the pending payment to the DVC.

Hemant Soren said that in the previous government he had paid Rs 1600 crore as pending dues while after coming to power this time Rs 700 crore had been given but despite the Centre deducted the funds.

He said that turning away from the promises as part of SOP of the BJP government. Hemant Soren said that BJP has a hidden agenda to weaken the non-BJP government.

Hemant Soren that Centre owes more than Rs 1 lakh crore and the state government was continuously demanding the money to increase the old-age pension but instead of supporting the state government unconstitutionally, the funds were deducted from the account of the state government.

He said that in Independence India it is for the second occasion in the history of Independence India that such a deduction was being made. The Chief Minister said that all MPs and BJP leaders are speaking the language of the Centre but in future, they would have to fight future elections and then they would have to reply for neglecting the issue of the people.

He said that everyone knows under whose tenure the agreement was inked and in the three-party agreement there was a need to include coal ministry as the fourth party.

Attacking leader of the legislature wing of BJP Babulal Marandi that in such a small time to see so many changes in Babulal Marandi was really surprising. He said that Babulal Marandi wants to remove a leader who is the most accepted leader of the region, therefore, he should tell as to whether he wanted an outsider to once again become the Chief Minister of the state.
