S Ramadoss lauds AP CM for initiatives for uplift weaker sections

Vijayawada, Oct 24 (UNI) PMK (Pattali Makkal Katchi) leader S Ramadoss has congratulated Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy for his initiatives to uplift the weaker sections and hailed the decision of setting up of 56 BC Corporations.

In a letter addressed the Chief Minister on Saturday, the Tamil Nadu based PMK leader said "I extend my congratulations to you on behalf of my Party (Pattali Makkal Katchi), as the State government of Andhra Pradesh, under your leadership, has successfully announced the establishment of 56 Backward Class corporations for the upliftment of the Backward Classes and the list of chairpersons to head these corporations”.

“I have learnt that 29 corporations are going to be led by women (more than 50%) and 12 directors have been appointed for each corporation representing all 13 districts. I appreciate the fact that you have taken this right decision, at the right time, to uphold social justice and ensure social development", he added.

The PMK leader said "In the name of progressive thinking, in the cultural setting of pseudo political decency, where the caste is seen as a symbol of regression, you have seen the caste as the foundation of social justice and as an indicator of state’s development”.

This is called true revolution. Through this you have risen as the “Guardian of Social Justice” in the state of Andhra Pradesh, he said adding “I am very proud & happy to confer you the title of “Andhra Pradesh’s Guardian of Social Justice."
