Unable to bear abdominal pain, woman poisons two minor daughters, self

Theni, Oct 24 (UNI) In a gruesome incident, a 29-year-old woman poisoned her two daughters and committed suicide as she was suffering from chronic abdominal pain at Ammachiyapuram village near Andipatti here on Friday night.
Police said today the deceased were identified as S.Senbagavalli and her two daughters S.Surena (10) and S.Sureshree (8).
The woman allegedly mixed some poisonous substance in a soft drink which she offered to her two daughters and then consumed it herself.
While the woman died in her house itself, the two girls died at Theni government medical college hospital in the wee hours of today.
Investigations revealed that Senbagavalli took the extreme step as she was unable to bear the pain. She was suffering from chronic abdominal pain and had undergone various treatments for the past few months.
