Heavy metal music; 30 years of slinging horseshoes in St. Clair Shores

Posted 2020-10-24, Macomb Daily

It wasn’t quite the way club president John Thomachefski wanted to celebrate the 30th year anniversary of the St. Clair Shores Horseshoe Club.

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) had an impact on the club, that has grown to sport a large co-ed Tuesday Night Late Doubles League and an Early League in addition to its original

"The Tuesday Night Doubles League is our bread and butter and a lot of those guys and gals were persistent and wanted to play if and when the governor declared that limited outdoor gatherings could go on,"
