Advance with extreme caution: Diggy

Bhopal, Oct 24 (UNI) In an oblique offensive against political opponents, Rajya Sabha Member Digvijaya Singh on Saturday advised his party – the Congress – to take unalloyed care of “durable” leaders and workers.

Madhya Pradesh’s erstwhile chief minister retweeted a remark by the Congress’ former state president Arun Yadav who shared a video showing Gwalior’s Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Pradhuman Singh Tomar touching a Congress leader’s feet and urging him to work for the saffron camp.

“A ‘minister for sale’ went down on his knees! Some Congress leaders may be purchased but every worker is sturdy,” former central minister Yadav wrote.

“Until November 3 (voting day), we may witness a sashtang pranam and after he is vanquished, he will glare at us,” Mr Singh quipped.

In 2018, Mr Tomar emerged victorious on a Congress ticket from Gwalior.

Bhopal, Oct 24 (UNI) Returning fire at the Congress camp, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra claimed on Saturday that the electorate would bid the “final adieu” to Congress state President, erstwhile central minister and former chief minister Kamal Nath on November 3 – voting day in 28 Assembly constituencies witnessing by-polls.
