Chasing target, DC openers expected a good start, but that didn't happen as they lost openers Rahane and Dhawan inside 13 runs.
Rahane was first to go for a duck in 1st over and then Dhawan at 6 in third over both wickets picked by Cummins.
Skipper Iyer and Pant played sensibly stitching 63 runs for third wicket and were going well, but then Pant was third to go when Varun scalped him in 12th over. Pant 27 came in 33 balls (2 fours, 1 six).
Further wickets continued to fall in form of Hetmyer 10 in 14th over, skipper Iyer 47 off 38 (5 fours), in 14th over, Stoinis 6, Axar Patel 9 in 16th over, Rabada in 18.5 over for 9, Deshpande 1 in 19.5 over.
Iyer remained the top scorer 47, followed by Pant 27, Ashwin not out 14, Hetmyer 10.
Ashwin 14 and Nortje remained not out.
For KKR wicket-takers were Varun 5/20, Cummins 3/17 and Ferguson 1/30.
