After a long wait, Suriya has finally announced when the trailer of his upcoming film 'Soorarai Pottru' will be out. In an adorable video, the actor was seen making a paper airplane as he finally revealed when the trailer of the film will be out.

The announcement comes a long time after the movie's songs like 'Maara' were unveiled. Suriya made the video from his house and thanked fans for their patience, while also revealing that the trailer of 'Soorarai Pottru', a film based on the story of an IAF officer, will release on Monday.

"Hello all. How have you been? I know a lot of you have been waiting for this for a very long time. You all have been very patient and super supportive while we were getting ready to take off. As a team all we can say is a big thank you," Suriya was heard saying in the video.

He also shared, "And we also truly believe we can entertain you and also inspire you with the story. Yes, I'm very happy to inform you that the trailer of 'Soorarai Pottru' will be releasing on Monday, October 26 on Amazon Prime Video India. Yeah, so fasten your seat belts and get ready. We are coming."

Here's the video:

Directed by Sudha Kongara, 'Soorarai Pottru' features Aparna Balamurali, Dr.M Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal, Urvashi, Karunas, Vivek Prasanna, Krishna Kumar and Kaali Venkat in pivotal roles. The movie was previously scheduled for Summer 2020 release.

The film is produced by Suriya along with Guneet Monga, under 2D Entertainment and Sikhya Entertainment. The movie is touted to be inspired from a real-life story - that of all events which took place in the life of Air Deccan founder G. R. Gopinath.
