JAMMU: A massive manhunt is on to nab unidentified persons who, on Thursday evening, had hurled a grenade at a police vehicle near Kalai bridge area of Poonch.
“Some unidentified persons lobbed a grenade at our flying squad at around 8.30pm on Thursday. Luckily, the grenade failed to explode and no one was hurt,” Poonch SSP Ramesh Angral said on Friday, adding that further investigation was on.
The SSP said that police launched a cordon and search operation after the incident. “Though no arrest has been made so far, a massive manhunt is on to apprehend the miscreants,” he added.
