It was our cherished aspiration that the divisions would be touched by the magic wand of development and continue to advance along the progress path. However, the Congress was interested in graft. Reneging on a promise made to our cultivator brethren cannot be tolerated! The Congress pledged that it would effectuate agrarian debt waiver up to a ceiling of Rs 2 lakh within ten days of assuming the reins else the Chief Minister would be changed. But we waited in vain for ten long months,” the erstwhile central minister claimed.
