HAVELLS IND at 52 Week High; BSE 500 Index Up 0.5%

HAVELLS IND share price has hit a 52-week high at Rs 727 (up 0.3%).

Meanwhile, the BSE 500 Index is at 15,582 (up 0.5%).

Among the top gainers in the BSE 500 Index today are HAVELLS IND (up 0.3%) and RELIANCE POWER (up 19.7%).

CORPORATION BANK (down 3.9%) and CHENNAI PETROLEUM (down 3.1%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, HAVELLS IND has moved up from Rs 678 to Rs 727, registering a gain of Rs 49 (up 7.02%).

The BSE Sensex is at 40,811 (up 0.4%). The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are TATA STEEL (up 1.9%), MARUTI SUZUKI (up 1.4%) and ICICI BANK (up 1.2%). Other gainers include BHARTI AIRTEL (up 1.1%) and ONGC (up 1.0%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are NTPC and TATA STEEL.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,975 (up 0.5%). CIPLA (up 2.0%) and TATA STEEL (up 1.8%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 38,964 to 40,811, registering a gain of 1,847 points (up 4.5%).

HAVELLS IND Financial Update...

HAVELLS IND net profit down at Rs 633 million for the quarter ended June 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 2 billion a year ago. Net Sales declined 34.8% to Rs 14.8 billion during the period as against Rs 22.7 billion in April-June 2019.

For the year ended March 2019, HAVELLS IND reported 13.5% increase in net profit to Rs 7.9 billion compared to net profit of Rs 6.9 billion during FY18.

Revenue of the company grew 21.8% to Rs 101 billion during FY19.

The current Price to earnings ratio of HAVELLS IND, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at 73.0x.
