He will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Friday where police have indicated they will oppose bail after conceding he should not have been released when the initial charges were laid in September.
Police will allege a further two victims have come forward since the death of Annaliesse Ugle on Tuesday sparked heartache and outrage in the community.
“It is alleged between November 2019 and May 2020 [Mr Humes] sexually assaulted a girl who was 10 years old at the time of the first offence and during the offences, he tied her up and physically assaulted her,” a police spokeswoman said.
“It is further alleged between August 2018 and May 2020 the man indecently dealt with a girl who was five years old at the time of the first offence.”
Police claimed a search warrant executed at the man’s home also uncovered images of an indecent or obscene nature.
Already facing 11 charges in relation to Annaliesse Ugle, Mr Humes is now also accused of four counts of indecent dealings with a child under 13, four counts of common assault in circumstances of aggravation, three counts of deprivation of liberty, one count of threatening to injure, persistent sexual conduct with a child under 16, possessing indecent or obscene material, possessing methamphetamine and possessing an unlicensed firearm or ammunition which he failed to adequately store.
