MRPL share price has zoomed 10% and is presently trading at Rs 30.

Meanwhile, the BSE OIL & GAS Index is at 12,207 (up 0.9%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE OIL & GAS Index today is MRPL (up 10.2%).

BPCL (down 0.3%) and RELIANCE IND. (down 0.5%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, MRPL has moved down from Rs 51 to Rs 30, registering a loss of Rs 21 (down 42.2%).

On the other hand, the BSE OIL & GAS has moved down from 15,432 to 12,207, loss of 3,225 points (down 21.1%) during the last 12 months.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,940 (down 0.5%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include BAJAJ FINANCE (up 2.5%), BHARTI AIRTEL (up 2.5%) and NTPC (up 2.4%). Other gainers include BRITANNIA (up 1.8%) and IOC (up 1.8%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 38,964 to 40,722, registering a gain of 1,758 points (up 3.94%).

MRPL Financial Update...

MRPL net profit down at Rs 16 billion for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 366 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 4.8% to Rs 175.5 billion during the period as against Rs 167.4 billion in January-March 2019.

For the year ended March 2018, MRPL reported 6.4% increase in net profit to Rs 18.0 billion compared to net profit of Rs 16.9 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 6.2% to Rs 637 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of MRPL, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 1.9x.
