Maharashtra: Ulhasnagar Covid-19 tally crosses 10k mark

KALYAN: The number of coronavirus positive cases in Ulhasnagar crossed the 10,000- mark with 42 fresh cases reported on Thursday and the toll rose to 330 with two more casualties.
The Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation now has became fifth municipal corporation in Thane district which has crossed 10,000 patients including Kalyan-Dombivli, Navi Mumbai, Thane city and Mira Bhayander.
Even though the number of patients here reaches above 10k but coronavirus was brought under control since beginning of August month and recovery rate is also good and once recovery rate was highest at 93.5% in country.
Dr Yuvraj Bhadane, public relation officer of UMC said, "UMC has brought Covid-19 under control and presently patients' recovery rate is above 91% in city and only 553 active patients are undergoing treatment".
