RELIANCE POWER share price has zoomed 20% and is presently trading at Rs 3.

Meanwhile, the BSE POWER Index is at 1,644 (up 0.2%).

Among the top Gainers in the BSE POWER Index today are RELIANCE POWER (up 19.8%) and RELIANCE INFRA (up 5.0%).

KALPATARU POWER (down 0.1%) and NHPC (down 1.0%) are among the top losers today.

Over the last one year, RELIANCE POWER has moved up from Rs 3 to Rs 3, registering a gain of Rs 0 (up 6.8%).

On the other hand, the BSE POWER has moved down from 1,986 to 1,644, loss of 342 points (down 17.3%) during the last 12 months.

The top gainers among the BSE Sensex stocks today are BHARTI AIRTEL (up 1.4%), L&T (up 1.3%) and ONGC (up 1.3%). Other gainers include BAJAJ FINANCE (up 1.2%) and BAJAJ FINSERV (up 0.9%). The most traded stocks in the BSE Sensex are SBI and BHARTI AIRTEL.

In the meantime, NSE Nifty is at 11,940 (down 0.3%). The top gainers in the NSE Nifty include TATA MOTORS (up 1.7%), BHARTI AIRTEL (up 1.3%) and BRITANNIA (up 1.3%). Other gainers include ONGC (up 1.3%) and L&T (up 1.3%) are among the top gainers in NSE Nifty.

Over the last 12 months, the BSE Sensex has moved up from 38,964 to 40,722, registering a gain of 1,758 points (up 4.17%).

RELIANCE POWER Financial Update...

RELIANCE POWER net profit down at Rs 44 billion for the quarter ended March 2020, compared to a loss of Rs 484 million a year ago. Net Sales rose 7.7% to Rs 18.0 billion during the period as against Rs 16.7 billion in January-March 2019.

For the year ended March 2018, RELIANCE POWER reported 6.3% decrease in net profit to Rs 10.3 billion compared to net profit of Rs 11.0 billion during FY17.

Revenue of the company grew 5.3% to Rs 98 billion during FY18.

The current Price to earnings ratio of RELIANCE POWER, based on rolling 12 month earnings, stands at down 0.2x.
