The report states that this amount fixed is for the ongoing financial year and there will be no shortage of funds for this work. It is believed that a person in India will need two injections, which will cost two dollars per shot. Apart from this, the cost of 2-3 dollars will come in the storage and transport of the vaccine.

Kovaxin, the Corona vaccine being made in India on Tuesday, has got the permission for the last round trial. It is believed that Phase 3 trials of this biotech vaccine of India can start from next month and the vaccine may be ready by February.
Bharat Biotech is developing this vaccine in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research. Apart from this, a vaccine is being made in India in partnership with Serum Institute and Oxford-AstraZeneca. Along with this, Zydus Cadila is also preparing a vaccine named ZyCov-D.
