Bahubali director S.S Rajamouli’s next magnum opus Roudram Ranam Rudhiram (RRR) is one of the most highly anticipated films for over three years and the first look of Jr. NTR as Bheem in the film is opened to the audience on Thursday, October 22, 2020 with the voice over by the other lead in the film, Ram Charan.
The movie stars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR in the lead.Earlier this year, the makers of the film had released the first look of Ram Charan and now, they have released the first look of Jr. NTR as Bheem. The makers took to the official handle of RRR and shared:

RRR is a pan-India film bankrolled on DVV Entertainments banner by DVV Danayya. The movie stars NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris and sever others in pivotal roles.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film is a period drama that narrates a fictional take on the younger days of celebrated freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju. The film is set for release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada alongside several other Indian languages.
The expectations are running high as the film is by Rajamouli after his record series of Bahubali, which won him a pan-India fame with box office collections surpassing Rs.1,000 crore-mark.

However, the latest film RRR has a story that is focused on freedom struggle in Andhra unlike the Bahubali story that revolves around a royal family irrespective of the region. Though it has top two Telugu actors, it may remain successful in southern region as the film Syraa of Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachchan proved with a similar storyline and appeal.
In this film, Rajamouli tried to combine two popular legends of tribal uprisings in the region — Komaram Bheem’s fight against the feudal landlords during the Nizam’s rule in Telangana and Alluri Seetharamaraju’s revolt against the British rule in Andhra, both in the first half of the 20th century.
Two legends in one film
Rajamouli is trying to experiment two legends in one story with the common theme of fighting for tribal rights against the rulers. Komarram Bheem, born into a family of Gond Tribals (Koitur) in the forests of Komaram Bheem district in the state of Telangana, on Oct 22, 1940 was barely 15 years when his father was killed by forest officials while fighting for Adivasis’ rights. He gave the slogan of “Jal, Jungle, zameen” (Water, Forest, Land), which are birth rights of the people who live in forests.
Even to this day, Komaram Bheem is regarded as a deity among Gond Adivasi community, who observe his death anniversary on Aswayuja Pournami, at Jodeghat. In 2012 a statue of Bheem was installed on Tank Bund.
The film RRR story revolves around the lives of Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju, with a figment of imagination added to construct the undocumented period in their lives, when both the rebels choose to go into oblivion and give a comeback together to fight again British in India in their own areas and in their own desperate ways, in 1920.
Both the stories have already been made into popular films which makes the success of this film a bumpy ride for Rajamouli. However, keeping his score for graphics and music in mind, there is an ample expectation that the film will be an entirely new treat for viewers, though its pan-India success remains unlikely, since the British rule and their ruthlessness remain a varied factor in other regions.
