USGS: 5.1-magnitude quake hits 64 km off Kimbe, Papua New Guinea

Hong Kong, Oct 22 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted 64 km west of Kimbe, Papua New Guinea, at 06:14:24 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 181.04 km, was initially determined to be at 5.5515 degrees south latitude and 149.5514 degrees east longitude.
