
NEW DELHI: Shares of Dr Reddy’s Laboratories fell over 3 per cent in Thursday's session after reports said the company suffered a data breach at its servers, forcing it to shut operations.
Shares of Dr Reddy’s Labs were down 3.03 per cent at Rs 4,894 on BSE.
ET Now, citing sources, said the company has shut all key plants across the globe due to the data breach. The plants in the UK, US, Brazil, India and Russia have been impacted due to the breach. The breach reportedly happened between 4-5 pm US time.
The news channel said Dr Reddy’s refused to comment on the story.
Shares of the company have surged rapidly during the current year, constantly hitting record highs. However, in recent days, it has seen some profit taking. In the last one year, it is up 69 per cent but down 6 per cent in the last one month.
