Realme X7 series is coming to India soon. Company's India boss Madhav Sheth had simply asked his followers if he should bring the Realme X7 and X7 Pro to India, to which he gathered positive responses. Although these responses are reassuring, Sheth's very question is a teaser for the arrival of X7 series. He also teased the MediaTek Dimensity processor is debuting in India with the X7 series, bringing 5G support.
There is no clarity on when the Realme X7 and X7 Pro smartphones will launch in India. Sheth's tweets are indicative of their imminent arrival only. Realme X7 series will mark the debut of the MediaTek Dimensity processors in India. The X7 rocks a Dimensity 800U processor while the Dimensity 1000+ processor powers the X7 Pro. Both the chipsets are among the latest ones that bring 5G connectivity for affordable costs.
Realme launched India's first 5G phone, X50 Pro 5G back in February and even though, nine months later, we are still too far from getting commercial 5G networks, the brand is strategising to offer more a range of options to customers. The Realme X7 and X7 Pro will bring the next-generation connectivity for much less price, somewhere around Rs 20,000 if you go by the China pricing.
Realme X7 series starts at CNY 1,799 in China, which is equivalent to roughly Rs 20,000 in India. Realme sells the 7 Pro for this price in India. Realme's hierarchy for smartphones does not follow a pattern, which makes it hard to assume where exactly the X7 series will be positioned in Realme's India portfolio. Anyhow, it will be interesting to see Realme bringing more 5G smartphones in India this year.
