Hindustan Zinc: Hindustan Zinc has reported a 7 per cent year-on-year drop in consolidated net profit at Rs 1,940 crore for the second quarter of the financial year 2021, as against Rs 2,081 crore during the same quarter last year, mainly on account of higher depreciation and finance costs.
Vedanta: Vedanta will receive Rs 5,843 crore as dividend from its subsidiary Hindustan Zinc that announced a dividend of Rs 21.30 per share. Latest shareholding data showed that billionaire Anil Agarwal-led Vedanta held 2,74,31,54,310 shares, or 64.92 per cent, stake in the company as of September 30.
ONGC, IOC: State-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) and Indian Oil Corp (IOC) have raised Rs 3,140 crore in debt to meet business expenses. In separate regulatory filings, the two firms said they raised the debt through non-convertible debentures (NCDs).
Granules India: Drug firm Granules India on Tuesday reported a 70.82 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 163.63 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, mainly on account of robust sales.
L&T Infotech: IT company L&T Infotech (LTI) on Tuesday reported a 26.7 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 456.8 crore for the quarter ended September 2020.
Aavas Financiers: Aavas Financiers on Tuesday said its board has approved plans to raise up to Rs 100 crore by issuing bonds on private placement basis.
