Robert Cahaly, the Republican election pollster who correctly forecast Donald Trump’s surprise victory over Hillary Clinton four years ago, has told Fox News’s Sean Hannity that the president is on track to win again thanks to his “hidden” support from among the electorate.
Trump and Joe Biden remain statistically tied in North Carolina, with just three percentage points between the two candidates, according to the latest Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll released on Tuesday. In another crucial state, Michigan, the Democratic contender has maintained an impressive seven-point lead over the president.
Other battleground states continue to show competitive races close to most polls’ margins of error, as more than 37m Americans are reported to have already voted, the US Elections Project said.
