Uttar Pradesh is undoubtedly one of those places rich in history, and the state has become the topmost visited ones across the India, as said by the Tourism Department of the Yogi Adityanath-led government.
The news was shared by the official Twitter handle of the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh, where it was declared that UP has been the first choice for Indians traveling around the country.
Uttar Pradesh was visited by more than 53 crore Indian tourists last year, whereas, more than 47 lakh foreigners also landed at the state’s airports. UP witnessed the third most number of footfalls in terms of foreign visitors in India in 2019.
