KKR scored 84/8 in their 20 overs, the lowest score in IPL history for a team without having been bowled out.Β They lost their top order for virtually nothing as RCB were helped to a blitz of a start by Mohammad Siraj (3/8). KKR were 17/4 at the end of 6 overs, the lowest Powerplay score this season. Eoin Morgan (30) held the innings together for a while till he was dismissed in the 16th over. Lockie Ferguson was introduced as late as in the 7th over of the chase. His over brought about the wickets of the RCB openers, after which Virat Kohli and Gurkeerat Mann shepherded the chase to the close.
