In Uttar Pradesh, all the schools of the Board including the Secondary Education Council have started working smoothly on Monday. From today, classes in classes 9 to 12 have been conducted in the state in two shifts, following the rules of Kovid protocol, including social distancing.
Additional Chief Secretary, Secondary Education Smt. Aradhana Shukla inspected the schools in the capital Lucknow. Smt. Shukla inspected Government Girls Inter College, Gomtinagar, Lucknow Public School, Gomtinagar, and Cathedral School, Hazratganj. He intensively tested sanitizer, handwash, thermal scanning and first aid system in schools, cleanliness of campus and provision of clean drinking water, etc.
Mrs. Shukla said that along with the future of the children, they also have health. He also gave information about mission power to the teachers and students present. He also inspected the Principal's Room and directed the consent received from the parents to be marked in the register class-wise. He was also accompanied by Director of Education (Secondary) Vinay Kumar Pandey.
Today, senior officers of the government and department were made nodal officers in all 75 districts in the entire state. Apart from this, the district magistrates in each district also made teams in their district and inspected the schools. The schools were ensured complete compliance with the standard operating procedure for health hygiene and other safety protocols prescribed by the government. In total 28,474 secondary schools from class 9 to 12, parents of 34,68,933 students gave their consent, which is 33.71 percent of the total students, against a total of 1,02,89,154 students. Out of the above 28,474 secondary schools, 21,661 schools had a meeting of the School Parents Association, which is 76.07 percent of the total schools.
Similarly, the system of cleaning toilets and clean drinking water in schools has also been ensured. During the inspection by the Principal, it has been conveyed that the students have come to school with pleasure and inspired by this, there is every possibility of increasing the number of students in the coming days.
