Hyderabad: Telangana State has recorded 1,486 new Covid-19 infections and seven fatalities on Monday, taking the overall toll to 1,282 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,24,545. As on Monday, there were 20,686 active Covid-19 cases in Telangana. A total of 1,891 persons have recovered on Monday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2, 02, 577 with a recovery rate of 90.21 percent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 88.6 percent.

Between Sunday and Monday, 42,299 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 923 samples are awaited. So far, a total of 38,98,829 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,24,545 have tested positive and 2,02,577 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from all the districts include 21 from Adilabad, 98 from Bhadradri, 235 from areas under GHMC, 29 from Jagtiyal, 17 from Jangaon, 22 from Bhupalpally, 20 from Gadwal, 38 from Kamareddy, 69 from Karimnagar, 89 from Khammam, nine from Asifabad, 30 from Mahabubnagar, 28 from Mahabubabad, 24 from Mancherial, 22 from Medak, 102 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 23 from Mulugu, 31 from Nagarkurnool, 82 from Nalgonda, eight from Narayanpet, 14 from Nirmal, 28 from Nizamabad , 35 each from Peddapalli and Siricilla, 112 from Rangareddy, 21 from Sangareddy, 42 from Siddipet, 44 from Suryapet, 18 from Vikarabad, 32 from Wanaparthy, 25 from Warangal Rural, 54 from Warangal Urban and 29 positive cases from Yadadri Bhongir.
